The Panhard and Levassor stand was one of many at the Paris Salon of 1910. The enormous galleries were lit up by thousands of veiled purple and yellow lamps, with every stand outlined in light and illuminated letters. A prominent feature of this particular stand was the enormous model of the Panhard-Knight slide-valve engine. The Knight engine attracted the attention of the European automobile manufacturers at this time.
