Ecurie Ecosse to Build Seven Legacy C-Types
In 1952, a young Ian Stewart, pioneer driver for Ecurie Ecosse, would visit Jaguar Cars in Coventry to collect his brand-new C-type. He would drive the car to its first race on Jersey to confront stiff competition from Aston Martin and Frazer Nash. The race was won at a gallop and in doing so he opened the first chapter in Ecurie Ecosseâs international motor racing career. Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique Cancelled
The Automobile Club de Monaco has announced the cancellation of the 2021 running of the famed Rally Monte-Carlo Historique, due to heightened COVID restrictions in France. Indy Museum Reopens
Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum officials were pleased to announce the Museum reopened to the public at 10 a.m. (ET) Friday, Jan. 8, at 25 percent capacity and following the same COVID-19 guidelines that were in place in summer and fall of 2020. The Museum closed Nov. 9 due to the rapid increase of COVID-19 cases in Indiana at that time. As of Jan. 8, the Museum will operate under its normal winter hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily.
